For our clients in the North Sea we have provided a number of bespoke studies – topsides and jacket FEED studies, foundation design, accommodation studies, transport and installation studies, additional load capacity assessments.
Advanced Analysis
Mondsworth offers an advanced structural engineering service based on FEA software Abaqus and high end computing resources. The team is headed up by a highly experienced Principal engineer capable of interpreting results and translating these into usable solutions and recommendations. We have the experience to address most of the current issues faced by operators- life of field, fatigue and reliability, accidental load analysis , non linear assessment of load carrying capacity.
Structural Detail Design
Mondsworth can provide detailed design solutions covering a wide range of greenfield and brownfield projects. Our engineers have first hand offshore experience of carrying out modifications to operational platforms. We have carried out several additional accommodation projects providing a variety of solutions to suit the limitations of the existing installation. We have also delivered solutions on caisson replacement, equipment removal / installation lifeboat replacement and platform strengthening.
